How to know your internet speed

Can anyone tell us how they confirm their bandwidth (download/upload speed) in Kbps/Mbps?

I always use the bandwidth test on wugnet.com. if wugnet returns less than 20Kbps then youtube is sure to suffer.

My download speed is 25.2 Kbps / Upload speed is 61.5 Kbps

I m providing very simple and straight forward step for testing internet speed:
you try downloading  many files at the same time you can download on download manager, depending on which browser you are using,you will see the speed of each transfer and get a total figure and that figure will give you an indication of how fast you were downloading.
