Nigerian business men launch Africa's own social network
« on: June 11, 2009, 03:00:54 AM »
Just came across a story on Naijafeed about some Naija guys launching a social network called Naijaborn. Gave it a look see, and it's pretty okay considering it's BETA. Naijafeed interviewed one of the creators:

But there are already many social networks in Nigeria, especially on the web starting with faceoffestac, enownow.com, ovaloaded, naijapals, legwork e.t.c.

I have no doubt it's likely to work but they'll need plenty of google ads cos people like legwork, amebo and lagosmeet are constantly advertising their social networks.
