maryam babangida dead
[float=right][/float]Former first lady and wife of former Dictator General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) has died after a long battle with cancer. IBB had long taken a junior wife in his Minna fortress a sign that he gave up on the battle for his beautiful wife's survival. But even at that, “She died beside her husband, General Babangida who has been at her bedside in the US hospital till her death. Mrs. Babangida‘s condition worsened months ago. Babangida, popularly called IBB by many, said that he was at her bedside at the University of California Los Angele‘s Jonson Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Los Angeles, United States, where he said she died at the age of 61.

The Punch reports: She died earlier today in a United States hospital where she had been undergong treatment for cancer.

Born in Asaba in Delta State in November, 1948, Babangida, who was arguably Nigeria‘s most glamourous First Lady, will be remembered for Better Life for Rural Women, a project she initiated between 1985 and 1993 when her husband, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd) was military President of Nigeria.

RIP Maryam

Firstly I dont wish death to anybody, R.I.P. Maryam

2. The wrong Maryam died, and the wrong Babangida too, I wish it was another of either or both if you understand my parable

3. Cancer needs to be taken seriously in our country now that we can all see that the richest people could not survive its deadly blow
Do not hesitate to pay for your knowledge.
