The Jonas Brothers load up on athletic gear at Big 5 Sporting Goods.
Clint Brewer/Splash News
The Jonas Brothers sure know how to throw a party! According to E! Online, the musical siblings rented out LA's Dodger Stadium on Thursday night from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. to celebrate Nick's 16th birthday with some of their closest friends.

The guys were spotted shopping at Big 5 Sporting Goods earlier in the week loading up on athletic gear for the event, which is a good thing since it's probably not exactly easy to run the bases in the tight skinny jeans the Jonas Brothers typically wear!

So how much do you think this birthday bash cost? According to reports, upwards of $30,000. Just renting the field alone starts at around $25 grand! And since the guys were playing at night, they needed to pay an extra $5,000 to have the stadium lights turned on. If they wanted to eat, food and drinks ran them $500, and if they wanted to pump their own music through the speakers that would have cost them another $500.

If we're lucky, maybe we'll see the soiree on an episode of MTV's "My Super Sweet 16"!

Miley Cyrus' sweet 16 birthday bash at Disneyland

A puppy, a couture gown and a birthday party at Disneyland?

Miley Cyrus’ 16th birthday gave new meaning to the word "schweeeeeet."

Although she doesn't actually turn 16 until Nov. 23, the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim closed Sunday night for the "Hannah Montana" star's major life event. The party included a four-song performance by the pubescent pop star and a breathtaking fireworks show high above Sleeping Beauty's Castle! dats wat i'm talkin about...lol

An estimated 5,000 people attended the bash and walked the purple carpet, and  yes, that's Cyrus' favorite color.

Talking to press, the "Hannah Montana" star bragged that her parents also bought her a new puppy for her birthday. No word on what kind.

News was released before the party that Miley would wear a  couture gown from Elie Saab’s spring/summer 2008 collection. Couture gowns are beyond the realm of most teenagers, as they range from $50,00-$200,000. According to Marilyn Heston Associates, Saab's rep, Miley's was made of tulle and encrusted in silver sequins.

Cyrus' father, Billy Ray, opened the concert for his daughter with a few of his own tunes, including "Achy Breaky Heart." To perform, Miley changed into a white ruffled skirt and jersey-like vest with "Sweet 16" on the back.

All evening long, her guests and their families, including stars such as Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt, rode rides such as  Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. David Archuleta and his entourage rode Space Mountain. Jennie Garth and her family ducked out before the fireworks display. Celebs, by the way, do not have to pay the party entrance fee. But they do get caught in limo-lock.
