Nigerian terrorist
« on: December 26, 2009, 04:46:41 AM »
Xmas was being celebrated around the world but on the mind of a fellow countryman... blowing up a U.S plane was his own target for the 25th 0f December 2009.How bad can nigeria's image get......If the U.S had somehow overlooked the fraudulent ways of we naija people in the past.I think this terror incident won't give us an easy ride at all........the wake of 9/11 brought about new a meaning of the muslim religion to the average American ,they saw the muslims as terrorists henceforth , they can't  even tolerate them now  .........same thing is about to happen to we nigerians.Someone committed the crime, but the whole nation 'll pay for it...prior to this incident, nigerians have been harassed  and embarrassed at airports and embassies from coast to coast in the western world ...now,special attention would be paid to every nigerian travelling outside the shores of Nigeria cause we have a new nickname "terrorists" .............my people i'm waiting on you to tell me what you think about the incident cos i feel so bad now..........
poverty is an orphan, success has many relatives

Examiner Bio  Attempted terrorist attack: Nigerian Abdul Farouk Musa Mudallad tried to blow up flight 253

Abdul Mudallad Nigerian allegedly tried to blow up Northwest Airlines Flight 253.

Mudallad is on Terror Watch List Database, said Rep Peter King of New York on CNN today.

Rep King is a ranking GOP member of the House Homeland Security Committee.

The Nigerian suspect claimed to have links with Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups. Mudallad said that the explosive device was procured in Yemen along with instructions.

A passenger Syed Jafri (Jafry) sitting at seat 16G on Flight 253 told CNN the suspect was sitting on 19A seat, and “he saw a glow, and noticed a smoke smell. Then a young man behind me jumped on him.”

Mudallad attempted to blow up the flight but his explosive device failed.

The New York Daily News reports that the suspect had powder taped to his leg with a syringe full of chemicals.
